According to Sawyer Merritt, Rimac has revealed its first robotaxi prototype fleet, featuring Level 4 fully autonomous driving capabilities powered by advanced AI systems, including integrated cameras, radar, and LiDAR. The two-seater electric vehicles are designed for premium passenger experience with a 43-inch display and 17 speakers. Rimac, through its new subsidiary Verne, plans to deploy the AI-driven robotaxi service in Croatia by 2026 and has already secured agreements for expansion into 11 cities across the EU, UK, and the Middle East.
